About ME

Jordan DeFazio is a Canadian screenwriter who has written for Netflix, optioned scripts in the U.S., and taught screenwriting for seven years at the Beijing Film Academy. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Studies from Concordia University in Montreal, studied Producing at the New York Film Academy, and spent a year on his Master’s at EICAR in Paris before moving to China to study Buddhism and pursue screenwriting.

Jordan has optioned 3 screenplays in the U.S. and helped in the creation of the TV version of “Deep in the Heart 心迷宫”. In 2019 he completed a 3-part mini-movie for Sony China and iQiyi called Chosen 2 杀无赦that is currently on Netflix and iqiyi. Post-covid Jordan switched to the mobile game world/VR game world and in 2023 decided to move back to Canada where he worked for Cohere in training their AI models to write in creative ways. Now he works for one of the biggest banks in Canada as a writer.

乔丹已将三部剧本的优先选择权成功卖给美国的影视公司，同时参与了电视剧版《心迷宫》的创作。2019年，他完成了索尼中国与爱奇艺联合出品的微网剧《杀无赦2》的创作。该剧也将上线Netflix。
